Did you know that the average website only uses about 300MB of space, and 5G-8G of bandwidth a month? Sure, there are exceptions to every rule. However, unless you are running an intensive site with high traffic, a lot of downloads, streaming audio/video, or graphic intensive designs, then the chances are that your site falls within the average. Even a site that is based around a community forum falls within the averages.
At VGI Networks, we plan on you using your account. That’s why we offer realistic plans instead of offering you something that may look good on paper, but you most likely will never come close to using. Unlike other hosting companies, we do not oversell our servers or over-crowd them. If the allowed amount of disk space on a server is taken, then that server is full. Even if the accounts on that particular server are only using 20% of what they are allowed. In return, we also make sure that the number of accounts on a server is about 70% of what it can actually handle. This way, your accounts performance will not suffer from a lack of resources.
